Mikel Arteta has been clear with his demands of signing more players before the summer transfer window slams shut at the end of the month. Technical director Edu Gaspar has been hard at work behind the scenes after already securing deals for Gabriel Jesus, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Fabio Vieira, Matt Turner and Marquinhos.

Youri Tielemans continues to be linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium, whilst Lucas Paqueta has also emerged as a potential target for the north Londoners. Wolves star Pedro Neto has reportedly been offered to the Premier League's top clubs, with Arsenal thought to be interested in signing a new winger this summer.

The futures of Nicolas Pepe, Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Hector Bellerin remain in doubt as the Gunners look to move on a number of fringe players. Bernd Leno, Lucas Torreira, Nuno Tavares, Pablo Mari and Alex Runarsson have all left on permanent or loan deals, with more business set to happen at the Emirates Stadium in the next two weeks.

With all that being said, keep tuned into our live blog as we bring you all the latest news and gossip from the Emirates Stadium.

Mikel Arteta is determined not to get too swept up in the optimism swirling around the Emirates Stadium after Arsenal's strong start to the 2022/23 season.

Arteta spoke to SkySports ahead of the Gunners trip to Bournemouth and warned his side must maintain their focus for the clash.

"We don't have to get carried away," Arteta said. "We've played two games and we're going to have another difficult game tomorrow against Bournemouth.

"You know how tough this league is so there's still everything to play for - we've done nothing and we have to be very conscious of that."

Arsenal are ‘keen’ for William Saliba to commit his long-term future to the club by signing a new contract at the Emirates Stadium, according to Daily Express journalist Ryan Taylor.

Understand that contract talks with Gabriel Martinelli have recently opened. Expected to be on much improved terms. Would be seen as a reward for fine form given he still has plenty of time to run on current deal and club already has an option to extend by a year.

AFC Bournemouth goalkeeper Mark Travers spoke to the Daily Echo about his admiration for Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale ahead of the Gunners clash on the south coast this weekend.

Travers said: "It was great to see him down here supporting the lads (last season), when he didn’t have a game with Arsenal. It was a really nice moment to see him after the game and catch-up.

"He's a massive motivation to be honest for me and a lot of the young lads at Bournemouth, goalkeeper-wise. Because he’s doing so well at Arsenal and obviously to try and get there to his level would be great."

Discussing Ramsdale's rocky path to Arsenal number one and England international, having been relegated twice and spent time on loan at AFC Wimbledon, Travers said: "I think what he’s done so quickly is unbelievable.

"Mentally to come back from two relegations and to go into Arsenal and take that shirt was unbelievable for him and he’s flying at the minute. He’s in contention with England as well, so I’m only delighted for him and hopefully that continues for him."

Spanish outlet AS have said that Arsenal have launched a £33.8million offer for Villarreal talent Yeremy Pino as manager Mikel Arteta looks to improve his options in the final third of the pitch.

Arsenal’s ‘interest is growing’ in Pino, according to CBS reporter Ben Jacobs, after Villarreal boss Unai Emery admitted if an acceptable bid should come in for the 19-year-old, then the club would 'have to accept'.

The four-cap Spain international is believed to have an €80m (£67.5m) release clause written into his contract, but Villarreal’s financial issues mean they could be willing to offload their prized asset in a cut-price deal.
