Jordan Addison getting Carson Palmer’s blessing to wear jersey No. 3 at USC was just the start.
Numbers for various incoming USC players were recently revealed, giving the program more of an identity and enabling players to feel more fully part of the new Trojan family under Lincoln Riley and Alex Grinch.
This is an exciting time at USC — not just the beginning of the Riley era, but more precisely, a time when the Trojans are rolling out the red carpet for recruits. USC just finished a massive recruiting weekend with lots of official visits from top prospects. The “Golden Hour” recruiting weekend included the Salute to Troy and speeches from Riley. USC football legends such as Matt Leinart, LenDale White, and many others were on hand. The USC community and the people who have made the football program great in past eras are united and invested in helping Riley flourish. This is the positive energy coursing through the program right now.
