There is no doubt that having the presence of such important players as Kelly Smith and Fay White, legends of Arsenal and the English national team, is a privilege that few of us can enjoy, but Betway Insider does. This site is an editorial blog from one of the best betting sites in the world, Betway.

In this blog, we can watch a video in which the two players choose their ultimate European Championships XI. Both the defender and the winger have more than 200 caps for England and have therefore played against the best players in the Women's Euros' history.

First, they choose Nadine Angerer, currently coach and former player of the German national team, who is considered a legend, as the best goalkeeper. As for the defence, they start with Ariane Hingst, a versatile player who could also play as a defensive midfielder. The right-back chosen is Lucy Bronze, who this summer joined Barcelona and left Manchester City. She is currently one of England's best players in the Women's Euros 2022.

In addition, both players praise the full-back: "Lucy Bronze has been fantastic for a number of years now...It’s the mindset, it's the attitude, as well. I want to be the best." The other centre-back they choose is Wendie Renard, player and captain of Olympique Lyon and the French national team. In addition, Kelly Smith makes it clear that she is one of the best she has played against: "The toughest one that I think I've played against is Renard". They also highlight his goalscoring ability.

To finish with the defence, Magdalena Eriksson was selected at left back. The Swede plays for Chelsea and has had a fantastic season and is one of the leaders of the English club.

As for the midfield, they choose Renate Lingor, highlighting above all her skills and dribbling. Meanwhile, they chose Dzsenifer Marozsan, Olympique Lyon and Germany midfielder, as their '10', noting that she sees the game differently to the majority of players. To finish with the midfield, they choose Hege Riise, current coach of the Norwegian national team and who won the World Cup with Norway in 1995.

Finally, they choose their ideal front line, first of all Birgit Prinze, former Germany national team player and top scorer at the 2003 World Cup: "The one striker...That sticks out is Birgit Prinz. What she's left legacy-wise. Best forward ever, I believe." Then they choose Vivianne Miedema, Arsenal striker, who stands out for having become the top scorer in the Netherlands' history at the age of just 22. To complete their ideal XI, the English legends choose.... Kelly Smith!

Smith was one of the best wingers in world football for years even when England were not at their best and were not among the top national teams. Fay White also points out that even her jersey was retired. She became the first Seton Hall athlete in any sport other than basketball to have a number retired.

Without a doubt, both players have built a great eleven that no team would want to face.
