The Cinnaminson High School football team completed a thrilling comeback for a 27-23 victory on its home field over rival Delran before a large and loud crowd on Friday night.

The Pirates pulled off a nine-play, 69-yard drive for the decisive score, culminating with senior quarterback Jack Zarnawski’s 3-yard run with 1 minute, 16 seconds left in regulation, pushing the team’s unbeaten streak to four.

Zarnawski finished with three rushing touchdowns and Kyle Willis ran for another score for Cinnaminson.

Delran (0-5) rallied from a nine-point deficit in the fourth quarter to take a 23-19 lead with nine minutes left. The Bears scored twice in less than a minute as Derek Namnun rushed for a touchdown and Ezra Thomas returned an interception for another score.

After Zarnawski gave Cinnaminson the lead, junior Anthony Udotong put the game on ice with an interception for the Pirates, who avenged a 42-8 loss to Delran last year.

Holy Spirit 28, St. Augustine 7: Sophomore Jahcere Ward continued his impressive groundwork, rushing for three touchdowns to power the Spartans to victory.

Ward has found the end zone in each of the Spartans five games and owns a pair of three-touchdown outings. He’s rushed for nine scores this season.

Holy Spirit (4-1) has won two in a row since a 30-26 loss to St. Joseph Academy on Sept. 9 while St. Augustine lost its third straight and fell to 1-4 overall. The three power Non-Public schools all went 1-1 in their series this season.

Delsea 26, Kingsway 21: Jared Schoppe ran 24 times for 118 yards and 3 touchdowns to power the Crusaders to a road victory Friday night. Wayne Adair added 93 yards on 15 carries as well as a 30-yard scoring grab for the victors.

Kingsway quarterback Nate Maiers threw three TD passes in defeat, one each to Luke Van Brill, Darrell Brown Jr. and Jake Mason, with Mason’s getting the team within five points with 1:46 to play. However, Delsea was able to recover the ensuing onside kick and picked up two first downs to run out the clock.

Haddonfield 28, Woodbury 6: Declan McCarthy threw for three touchdowns and ran for another as the Haddons improved to 3-0 with a win over the Thundering Herd in a meeting of undefeated West Jersey Football League squads.

McCarthy found Charlie Klaus with TD passes of 13 and 37 yards. The second came with 1:26 left in the first half and gave the Bulldawgs a 14-0 lead.

Bryan Johnson hit JaBron Solomon from 27 yards out for the lone Woodbury touchdown on the first play of the fourth quarter, but Haddonfield answered with a 5-minute drive that ended with a 2-yard sneak by McCarthy.

Lenape 34, Eastern 0: Zyaire Fleming ran for all five of Lenape's touchdowns as the team broke in its new artificial turf field in dominating fashion with a rout over over the Vikings..

Lenape is now 2-2 on the season after losing its first two games.

Despite the final score the Vikings did have their chances, twice getting inside Lenape's 10-yard line. Three fumbles and an interception hurt Eastern (0-4).

Mainland 29, Hammonton 14: Ja’briel Mace had three interceptions, including a pick-6 to ice the game in the closing minutes, as the host Mustangs knocked off previously unbeaten Hammonton.

Mainland quarterback John Franchini threw a pair of touchdown passes to Jamie Tyson and ran for a third score, which put the Mustangs ahead with 8:46 to go in the fourth quarter.

For Hammonton, Kye Pressley scored a rushing touchdown and Nakeem Powell caught a 21-yard touchdown pass from Billy Way.

Burlington Twp. 21, Rancocas Valley 14: Naquan Jones’ 6-yard touchdown run in the third quarter was the difference as the Falcons soared to a victory over the rival Red Devils.

Rancocas Valley drove inside the Burlington Township 10 in the closing seconds, but the game ended on an incomplete pass on the final play.

Atlantic City 27, Deptford 16: Special teams shined for the Vikings as Allen Packard took the opening kickoff 86 yards to pay dirt and Sahnye Degraffenreidt had an 87-yard punt return touchdown later in the first quarter.

Degraffenreidt added a receiving TD later in the contest and Raul Cabrera iced the game with a 35-yard pick-6.

Middle Twp. 14, Gateway 0: The Panthers provided head coach Frank Riggitano with his 100th career win.

Riggitano is 100-105 over his 21-year career, which included two stints at Middle Township from 1990-2000 and 2012-22.

Oakcrest 15, Moorestown 14: Zicri Forest’s fourth-quarter, 68-yard punt return touchdown, coupled with Aldrich Doe’s go-ahead, two-point conversion run, lifted the Falcons to victory. Forest also had his team’s other score, a 20-yard reception from Marcus Lee.

Lower Cape May 47, Wildwood 6: The Caper Tigers earned their first 4-0 start in 12 years with a lopsided win on their home field. LCM has scored 47 points in back-to-back games and will travel to Middle Township next week.

Game cancelled. The Collingswood-Mastery High of Camden football game was halted in the third quarter Friday night when the threat of a shooting was relayed to local police, according to Collingswood football head coach Mike McKeown.

Pennsauken 63, Trenton 0: Karon Ali rushed for two touchdowns while his brother, Khalil, caught two TD passes from Dante Viccharellli as the Indians ran their unbeaten streak to four with a home rout. The team eclipsed the 60-point plateau for the first time in over two decades and mark its most points scored since they scored 56 in a loss against Freehold Boro in 2016 (a 69-56 decision.
